Sevilla was our final destination on this three week long journey. The moment we arrived at Seville it felt as if we went back in time to old Spain. The cobblestone roads, small streets, and old buildings, I was mesmerized. Everything that I imagined Spain to be was in Sevilla. People roaming the streets late at night, eating out on the terrace with your significant other, the music, the culture in this city was so just vibrant. The entire time I was there it felt as if I was in a movie. Couples roamed the streets adding onto the romanticized ambiance of the city. Not only was this city beautiful it was filled with history. Sevilla saw the horrors of Spanish Civil War, just imagine walking the streets of what once was a battle ground. After the discovery of the America’s it became the economic center of the Spanish Empire. Christopher Columbus grave is in this city, along with the original documents of when America was founded. This city had so much to offer us.
